Rhonda Barnes Jordan, M.D.

Board-Certified Physician

My passion for providing health care for seniors stems from the incredible wisdom and life experiences that older patients share during every interaction. I count it an honor to have an opportunity to contribute to the quality of their lives.

Over the course of my 20-year career, I have developed a patient-centered approach to care which place a high value on listening to my patients and helping them to identify and achieve their health goals. Sometimes, that could be as simple as improving sleep patterns or increasing water intake; other times, it requires a personalized health care plan followed closely by our care team.

In every case, I strive to explain health conditions and treatment plans in a way that makes sense for my patients. Experience has proven to me what research also suggests: patients who understand their health care feel empowered, which leads to better outcomes.

One of my primary specialties centers around controlling patients’ blood pressure and blood sugars. Managing these factors can prevent numerous co-morbidities such as kidney failure, heart attacks and strokes. Preventive care and effectively managing chronic conditions are major components of healthy aging, and I am dedicated to being a supportive and knowledgeable partner on each patient’s health care journey.
